I created a photo gallery highlighting the recent de-stemming of our Valdepeñas and Muscat grapes on the first day of autumn 2014 in sunny Richmond, BC.
Yields were down in California vineyards in 2011, with the main culprit being frost, and cold and soggy weather on top of that. The season was a repeat of 2010 in that it was very cool and very late. Luckily, Zinfandel, which we had ordered in early Spring, was one of the varietals that fared better.
